I am not a Canal guy by no means but given FL has shut down all boat ramps I might have to give it a shot this year, 1 st question whats your choice of jig head style

Savage style pointed or do-it mold style bullet head?? both lures in picture are 5 oz.

Forgot to mention, hook strength matters, the bullet jig head hook appears much stronger:)

Or we can just stay at your place, build a fire in the back yard, and eat a squirrel on a stick.

How about wild turkey instead, can pick one off with the pellet gun as there are thousands around.  Wait a minute, there is a stay home order in place by my buddy Chuck, you better not come up here...……………...

I’m a big fan of the savage style heads. Little more aerodynamic to get down on the bottom faster and also less effort to cut through the wind when you are trying to get more distance. Generic ones at M&Ds were awesome, hope the new owner continues to stock them.

agreed on all

M & D's had the heads

C B&T has the tails

A great combination.

Lots of people trout fishing does that mean when the bass arrive we will see more people bass fishing??

Yup. When people usually leave the canal at 6-7am for work those people will stay longer if they are not back to work.
