Rangler
I am doing some spring shopping during the quarantine. Never used any plugs before. I mostly fish out of the Chesapeake Bay area, OCMD, and IRI. Will use 9" or 10" 6 mojo surf. I already have these; Bucktails Jetty caster Magdarter 5" bone SP Minnow 6" bone Kastmaster spoon Got-cha plugs I am thinking SP minnow Blue purple but What would you add to the list? ASrod
Grab some bombers, metal lips and super strike poppers too. Rangler 1 If you can dream it, I can meme it.
SneakyWeakie
I'd add some 4" or 5" soft plastics paddletail on jigheads. I like the Zman deizel minnows. Maybe a smaller profile topwater like a smackit or talkin popper too.
VitaminDee
throw in a topwater pencil popper and heddon spook in bone
fatbikerjoe
Shimano Coltsniper jerkbait in 6", wonderbread. It's one of my favorites and it casts really well into wind.
gcjeep14
Maybe one or two epoxy jigs, cast well and they catch. 55555s

If you fish sunrise you definitely should grab a pencil popper and a bottle nose popper, I prefer the bottle nose in calmer conditions and the pencil in rougher water conditions and throw them right as the sun pops up over the horizon. As far as plugs go I'd suggest the largest SP in Sandeel pattern as far as a beginner plug goes. You could throw a glider in there as well as they are pretty easy to use and understand. And of course the most effective thing in your bag other than bucktails would be soft plastics on jig heads to get down towards the bottom of the water column.
