· #1 Posted March 16, 2020 Ran across this old French Spinning Reel that does not have manufactures name or model number. I would appreciate any information you might have. It has a spool that is marked Pelican and is the size of a Orvis 100 because the spool from the Orvis fits perfectly. Everything works great but It need a new bail spring. · #2 Posted April 1, 2020 That reel is made by Zangi in Italy they made a lot of reels for fishing reel company's Orvis / pelican / Delfino/ made reels Sears Ted Williams line of reels also for ABU.
