A little over your price range but the accurate boss xtreme 500 & 600s are both beasts. Tackled many tuna up to 120lbs with both my set ups. 
 

I’ve heard (and saw) good things with Ocean Maxes as well and they are in your price range.

I prefer spinners too, witched over all my tuna pop/jig to spin

 

if you like conventional, the before mentioned Avet are great reels for the money, model will depend on the size of the tuna you're targeting, Shimano Talicas are good, for smaller tuna and less money the speedmaster II which is very popular on the west coast.

yes.  speedmaster is what i meant! sorry...

 

shimano is getting like ikea with their names - can’t keep them strait anymore :eek:
