Reel grease vs oil

I’m curious as to others opinions on grease vs oil when it comes to servicing your reels and why.

I use grease personally. I feel grease will collect sand and keep it concentrated to the area rather then dispersing it to other parts of the reels.

What’s your guy’s take?

Who here uses TS1321?

I just had my custom Newells serviced and the gentleman who did it (dude is a master), recommend this for the bearings. I had never heard of it until then.

Tsi 321 has become the fishing reel bearing oil that all others are based one. Been that way for the past 5 years as far as I'm concerned.

Excellent corrosion protection, longevity, with minimal impact on resistance at speed. Keep a bottle in the car and at the bench

I think mystic parts has the best deal on the big bottle...

I still have mine from a bunch of years ago... (down to my last 30ml)

I think it's the best do all fishing reel bearing oil
