Penn slammer 360

3 posts in this topic

Is a penn slammer 360 considered just a saltwater reel? I have one in mint condition and want to use it for heavy duty freshwater fishing( throwing bigger lures for bass, freshwater stripers ect} A representative of a local bait and tackle store told me it was  too over the top for freshwater fishing. I am just asking for some opinions

I have a 260 I use for fresh and love the thing.  I just got my 2nd 360 and thought one would be a great reservoir catfish rig on an 8' rod
