This year, "The Annual Old Geezer Quincy Flounder Thing" will be on Monday, May 11th. Carl, Old Goat, Mattapoisett and Jessica please nominate one person each to add to the "KREW" for this trip. Someone from this site who is "kinda old". Not that Jessica is old but we need her to fillet all the HADDOCK!

OK, only kidding, we will not get any HADDOCK but the very word HADDOCK makes Jessica squirm. She has nightmares about having to fillet her way out of a boat full of HADDOCK...

You mean between Bob and Carl I will only need some oil (they have lots of gas!)?

Jason the date and the day for may does not agree It must be on Monday the 11 not the 9th?

It was could to see you yesterday for some cribbage . I think I got sand bagged when you said that you had not played in a while and then

hand me my head on a platter. We shall see what occurs the next time. however it was a joy to talk with you and share a few moments in fishing history/

I would like to see Bob G come along on the trip , so we can wait for his answer before we suggest some one else that is old like us all

You are correct Carl! The 11th (Monday, May 11th) is the correct date.

If you think Bob G has as much (gas) to contribute as HFG's Santa then perhaps we can get both?

I know I have plenty of room so lets make it happen.

Bob G., You In?

Thanks for the generous offer Jason, and I haven't caught a cod in years. But May 11 is the middle of turkey season, and no doubt I'll be  on some remote hilltop around Quabbin calling birds.

Again, thanks for the offer, I'm sure you'll find someone to take my place.

Sorry you can't make it.

Just keep in mind, the turkeys told me they are stayin' away from you!

A lot of people stay away from me of late, why should the turkey be any different.

There is a guy on here ("rarely") who goes by "Thunderrod" , I think it is a reference to his porn days. Anyway, he has a incredible "turkey hunting story" that I wish he would write about on here. On the other hand he is probably saving it for when he writes a book. The chapter with that story in it will win him the "Pulletzer Prize"!

I know him well. Fished with him a few times. Nice guy. He gave me a brand new chainsaw.

Happy to help you out Bob. You did the same for me and took me down Cape to help me pick out that custom-made rib rake. Besides, for all the tree work I do around the property, I needed a bigger saw with more balls.

Jason's talking about that time I was turkey hunting on my property near the power lines and came across the worst turkey-calling hunter on earth...
