First, is there a live stream or audio dialin listen only to tonights meeting?

Second, can someone explain to me what the headboats are going to do to release the cows off a 10ft bow?  Are they just going to toss them in as bycatch??

I don't think there's a webinar

Standing room only tonight

About 150 people in the room. More in the hall.

Can you share on what you thought majority of the public opinion was?

Maybe it's just me but that ****ing sucks!  28 - 38 is a large spread and 24 to 28 on top of that is disgusting when you have a fishery that has been declining for over 10 years now.

Bonus tag is a joke. Can't believe they are even considering it. There's something in the water in NJ and it stinks.

Its truly pathetic.  We have a strong juvenile class so let's destroy it before they get a change to spawn even once.  It's not a shock, these clowns couldn't even manage a public meeting let alone a fishery.  On one hand they acknowledge overfishing is occurring, on the other hand let's keep on with the bonus tag and let's start the season even earlier in 2020.  Pure genius.

Sell your gear now cause all these for hires that don't use the bonus tag unless they fear being checked will seal the deal on this fishery.

Way to go NJ. Clearly the state more concerned with money and keeping the charters happy short term than helping fix a massive problem that is long term. If they wanted more money coming into the state maybe they should of voted last year to legalize MaryJ. Sorry just ranting a bit. Sad to think my kids won't be able to chase the fish I grew up obsessing over.

Just now, Mr. Bigdeal said:

….. never bought a tag and don't intend to start now killing 24" fish.

No, buy a tag and hold it.  Don't use it.  This is the campaign we need to start.
