Lights gas dock boat and self on fire fueling up.

Sinks gaff in foot.

Dont blame em for cutting his loses and setting sail into the sunset so to speak.

Anyone buy out his business? Lots of big bass killed on the Karenanns.

Attended Rhode Island’s public hearing tonight.  As expected the for hire industry is pushing hard for 30-40 slot which would make RI the only state from Maine to NY not to be consistent 28-35.   Thankfully RISAA and a few others endorsed 28-35 .  Public Comments will be taken until February 23 before a decision will be made.

So this was interesting, NJ Marine Fishers Council mttg this evening was slated to begin at 5pm this evening.  By 4:30 the doors were closed to the public.  Police presence requested everyone waiting in the hall to please exit the building.  They knew we were coming and we did show up in force.

Corruption, that's all it is at this point.

ASMFC needs to go. Anyone involved with NJ management needs to go. Beyond inexcusable.

Update - They did allow those not in the room before doors closed to wait outside and as 1 speaker would leve the room they would let someone outside enter.  Problem with that was nobody stuck outside was informed so many left thinking the were shut out.  Also, they led off the meeting with commercial sea bass and then bluefish.  At the 45 minute mark many waiting on a cold wet winter evening opted to leave.

Sounds like 28-38 with a bonus tag for 24-28 is gonna win the day..  Season to open 5/15 and close on 12/31
