Once we're all back to business as usual, a committee, or task force or whatever you want to call it, needs to take a look at all of the executive orders that came out during this emergency.  Laws and procedures need to be tuned with the spirit of the Constitution of the United States in mind.  Some risk to the politician needs to be introduced.

When tens of thousands start dropping like flies, you can tell me I was wrong.

Right now, we have 4059 dead here in the US. most already had one foot in the grave and I don't expect tens of thousands to die as the experts keep declaring.

When this has passed, feel free to dredge this up and remind me how wrong I was.

Keywords to find it are:

COVIDY2K

Shamdemic

Chandemic

Write them down and don't lose it.  :th:

He doesn't get it....Nobody but just a few who waste too much of their lives arguing politics on a sub forum of a fishing site will give a rats ass about anything he posted when this is all said and done.....

At the same time.....only someone who's life includes too much internet needs bodies dropping like flies to be a serious event...

I thought this deserved a bump.

Why have tens of thousands materialized?

Not there yet and the numbers we have are inflated.

This thing is a shamdemic as I have said and the flu makes it look like a blip on the radar.

The numbers are less than original projections because of all the measures that've been taken. With more effectiveness than expected...more than I thought would happen in the US.

But "as you predicted". Right :bucktooth:

With the asymptomatic issues, I seriously doubt the shutdowns did squat. NYC proves that out. By the time they did stay in, the damage was done.

Less populated areas are doing it for little if any return on investment. People get infected in close contact in close quarters. Elevators, trains, cars, planes, small rooms.

#2 is not new.

Been talking about that for some time. The asymptomatic issues made that obvious a month ago.

There are infected people working right now at essential places of business like fast food restaurants, markets, Walmarts, etc and infecting people at this very moment.

Everyone is hold up thinking they are safe but someone heads out for something essential, picks up the virus on their clothing, shopping bags, hands, places their clothing or shopping bag, hand on the counter and another family member picks the virus up, before you know it, family member/s are infected without leaving the house.

Looks we have two new and imminently predictable narratives to support the shamdemic nothing burger bias:

1.  The death toll is fake.

2. The social distancing stuff didn't work.

1.) Birks told us so just the other day.

2.) Full social distancing was factored in to every IMHE model after the initial apocalyptic 1.2 million American deaths prediction and it was still off by factors of 1000% +.

States that hadn’t even issued lockdown/social distancing edicts saw their “curves flatten” overnight with each new decrease in the model’s death prediction.

Any evidence that social distancing has had any effect on the spread is beyond anecdotal (much more so than the successful usage of HCHQ btw).

Michigan Medicine will not open field hospital due to curve 'significantly flattening'

items.[0].image.alt

(WXYZ) — Michigan Medicine will not open a field hospital as it was initially planned due to the curve "significantly flattening."

It continues to plan for a potential need, but there is no definite date on which the field hospital would open at this time.

"It appears from current COVID-19 cases and modeling that the curve is significantly flattening," a Michigan Medicine spokeswoman said.

Michigan Medicine is still in communication with state officials to coordinate and determine future need.

"Our ongoing focus is on our current capacity and readiness to serve patients in our existing hospital facilities."

Is the delay because of state law?

"The NICS examiner will provide the FFL with the date of the third business day after the firearm check was initiated. Business days do not include the day the check was initiated, Saturdays, Sundays, and any day state offices in the state of purchase are closed. If the FFL has not received from the NICS a final determination after three business days have elapsed since the delay response, it is within the FFL’s discretion whether or not to transfer the firearm (if state law permits the transfer). If the FFL transfers the firearm, the FFL must mark “No resolution was provided within three business days” on line 21d of the ATF Form 4473. It is recommended the FFL record the date provided in the delay response on which the firearm may be lawfully transferred under federal law if a final determination of proceed or denied is not received from the NICS."

“DISCONCERTING.”  COVID-19 Patients Given Unproven Drug In Texas Nursing Home In ‘Disconcerting’ Move.

A friend on Facebook comments: “Washington (Kirkland) nursing home: No hydroxychloroquine, 35 deaths out of 120 residents. Texas nursing home: Treatment WITH hydroxychloroquine, 1 death out of 135 residents.”

Maybe what’s “disconcerting” is the prospect that Trump might be right.
