I know that I'm going to get crap for this but $50K is not all that much today. Not enough for a luxury automobile or even a kitchen remodel. 

 

Make it $150K and you'll have many more options. We would even be able to send Belmo and Frank to climb Everest.

Yeah, they used to take a large percentage. Something in the neighborhood of 30%

 

Now they're only banker/credit card level crooks. 3%ish. They do accept donations however.

$50 k can get you a decent used Porsche.
