Blue fish broiled in butter can't be beat.

Wellsfleet oysters on the half shell---fabulous.

Now, if you would like to try something different, try Jelly Fish.

I have had it a few times in a Chinese restaurant in Hanover, NH

It's very good.

I am sure the Dartmouth students think its brain food

False Albacore, by far. However, I've never eaten a bunker

False albacore isn't bad at all. When I tried it, I had the fish bled and in a ice slurry til I got home. I cut all the dark meat out and seared it like regular tuna with some soy sauce. I'd eat it again.

but Bunker.... hell no.

Here in Georgia, the Cannonball Jelly is one of the most important seafood commodities for export. We send a lot of them to Asia.

Sea raven.

I don't think I actually ate it, I couldn't get past the cleaning of it.  I was ok with the plentiful cod worms, those are easy to take out, all the black hard shelled parasites freaked me out.  Just filleting it made me want to barf.

the most under rated fish is cunner, the most maligned fish is blue fish.  I'm not a strong fish guy, but a properly handled blue is as good as any saltwater fish, most don't treat them right and get the wrong results...they're certainly not a fish to leave lying around.

My godfather owned a fishing business

on the pier and sold some fish to the Government.  The Cod could have worms ( parasites ) in it up to a certain %  it was acceptable

Largemouth Bass, I took one home when I was a kid and 30 years later I still can't get the awful taste out of my mouth. And I think Stripers are good eating along with small Blues.

I had Albie once that was bled, iced quick and trimmed out and I thought it was pretty good.

Tilapia is awful too, but most likely it's because it's farm raised in China and they basically swim in sewage.
