Who caught the whale and left it on the beach?

A juvenile Blue Whale that washed up on Second Beach in newport in, I think, 1994 or 95. They took the ear out of it, then sent it off to be stripped down. The skeleton is hanging in the Whaling Museum in New Befuh.

seen it...its like i kinda wish i was there to see it but not there to smelll it after...lol

Longshore transport goes the other way, would end up in Galilee..... 

 

That blue whale was 1997 I think....

You're right...1997. 

For a bunch of naluagmiut ,they did a good job of breaking it down.
