Just what the Republicans need, another RINO.

I wouldn't trust this guy, first time things get rough, will he scamper back to the Democrats?

It is good he sees the light, but why was he hoodwinked to begin with.

Never trust a traitor.

(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Jeff Van Drew has been appointed to the House Committee on Natural Resources which oversees fisheries management, ocean ecosystem protection, federal conservation, and species protection programs. This is Van Drews second committee appointment after he was appointed to the House Committee on Agriculture last week.

South Jersey is rich with natural resources, and in the 2nd Congressional District, the coastal economy and our commercial and recreational fisheries are a large part of life. The Congressman has fought to protect the lifeblood of the local economy - tourism, fisheries, and wildlife-viewing – by banning offshore oil and gas drilling at the state level, which he will continue to do so at the federal level.

Congressman Van Drew will seek to serve on the Subcommittee on Oceans, Water, and Hydropower so that he can continue to fight for South Jersey’s coastal economy and fishermen. The Subcommittee on Oceans focuses on protecting our oceans, coasts, and vulnerable sea life from pollution, climate change, and other threats, as well as growing resilient coastal and ocean economies.

Jeff Van Drew is the Representative for New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District. His office in Washington, D.C. is in Cannon House Office Building Room 331 and his District office is in Mays Landing. Van Drew was a practicing dentist in South Jersey for more than 30 years and was previously Senator for New Jersey’s 1st Legislative District.

One more, from NJ2As, while he was a state sentaor:

"For nearly a decade, we have been asking Jeff Van Drew to fix these problems.  It’s not a difficult concept: innocent people don’t belong in prison.  Jeff Van Drew failed.  No gun owner or New Jerseyan in his or her right mind would or should ever vote for him, let alone send Jeff Van Drew to Congress.  Jeff Van Drew should be fired, not promoted."

As I posted in another thread, this guy sponsored a bill when a state rep that would require EVERYONE to wear a PFD at all times when on a boat, regardless of age.

Eff him, we dont need the likes of him.

He should resign from his party and go away
