Why don’t more tackle shop owners and tackle mfgs speak up about the dismal fishing?

Learn the game before you start crying that there's no fish. Yeah,it's tougher than it was 15 years ago,but that doesn't mean a damn thing. Just makes it harder.

Huh? The fact that it's tougher than it was 15 years ago means nothing? Um...yes, it does - it means that there are far fewer fish than 15 years ago - and that's something...something that needs addressing. Your being antagonistic and insulting to folks you don't know while whining that they aren't doing enough is the exact opposite of helpful. Good grief

Exactly. Even going beyond our ability to catch fish, our fisheries our vitally important to not only local businesses, but our ecosystems.

Buy yourself a nice rod and reel for (insert your personal holiday here).

Hang it up on the wall and look at it lovingly. It's pretty isn't it? When the fish come back, take it down and fish with it. If the fish don't come back, or you get bored with fishing, sell your new rod and reel at a tidy profit.

More like a 50% loss, if you’re lucky.

And if you aren't fishing 6 nights a week, then you might as well buy golf clubs, because you'll always be horrible at this game anyway. Being committed is first and foremost. Most of you aren't. This I know for certain, because I'm out every night from March till Dec.,and I'm almost always alone. Learn the game before you start crying that there's no fish. Yeah,it's tougher than it was 15 years ago,but that doesn't mean a damn thing. Just makes it harder. That's all.Want it easy? Go perch fishing.

Thank God you are here to let everyone know how

and when to fish. Cant wait to hear how you are

"keeping them honest". You come off as a dopey

soccer mom jumping up and down screaming at a

ref. I imagine you picture yourself as Quint at the

back of these meetings waiting for your nails on the

chalkboard moment. There is a reason those meetings

are scheduled for Tuesday nights in Chitheel Township.

They aren't listening to a word your saying. You dont

have the cash behind you so they could care less.

Stop your ridiculous preaching. Fish populations not

what they were in the past , is exactly the point.
