Yes. He started Visser Watches a couple years back and announced a new reel due out in the spring with the Visser name.

That is it. Rob debuted the first complete pictures of the reel yesterday on Facebook. Supposedly fully sealed and available in 6 sizes.

When are these Visser reels coming out? Anyone know the specs? I'm assuming made in China? 

 

I can't say I really dig the looks of these from the pictures posted tho..

I'm wondering if that might be some sort of graphite frame. Most likely not machined aluminum. Could be a winner if we are looking at 400 yard 40 lb braid capacity weighing 14 oz.
