I could be wrong.  Nothing a Sharpee can't fix.

So you're saying Friday and Saturday morning surf conditions will not only be crap brown at the shore but also have the nice post-low high pressure conditions conducive to a ****** bite. Just in time for my only free time this fall. There's always next year

Maybe.

Despite a large-area wind storm ("bomb cyclone" and so on) there will be areas of lower wind velocity. There will be areas where you might be in the lee of a local obstruction.

I like MaxKatt's joke. Mild and restrained.

Joke!?!?

I'll tell ya what's a joke.  You guys think some nerd in a "weather center" is getting pictures from space telling you what's going to happen 10 days in advance???  Hoax city!  Most likely of the Chinese variety too.

They just make that **** up after flipping through some old Farmer Almanacs, holding a finger to the wind, and trying to figure out if it was more orange at night or morning.  That's it!  They can't sell you that, so they cook up all the fancy "doppler radar" bells and whistles to keep you watching their channel thinking there's actually a way to know.

Next you're going to tell me you believe that "science" about the moon's gravity causing water to "bulge out from the earth" creating a tide.  I'll never forget the first time some dumb teacher tried to slip that fake news past me.

:)

It was funny, but come on man, on a fishing site, in a very clearly fishing forum, on a thread about weather, do we really need to involve politics?

Can't we talk about fishing just for once on this fishing website?

Or does every last ****ing thread need to devolve into political BS at some point?
