Popasilov are you out there.

Just ordered the Okuma Rockaway  12’,1-4  surf rod.

My brother has the 3/4-3 11’ and for the Money I really like it!!
I don’t know how I missed this rod but if you have it give me your feedback.

Never laid hands on a Black Hole, have you?

...

In the matter of fact, I did. Didn't fish with it, just had it in my hands.

Had a pleasure of meeting Kill at the Ward Melville show back in March.

Suzuki is a great rod, feels good in hands but I like my Rockaway much, much, more.

But,

That is just me.

Hello, new user here, just to leave my feedback...

I own the Okuma Rockaway 10' MH 1-4 oz.

It's a great rod, light and strong, it can cast 2oz very far on the surf

and I can feel everything (using 30lb braid).

I love this rod.

I thought about buying those, until I`ve seen how light they are.

Too light.

So I found Maver Duke Mormoria telesurf rods. 14 ft. 4 oz. cw.

They weigh a pound each.

And I ordered 3 of those.

My 12’ 1-4 showed up last week.

Put a Stradic FJ 5 K on it.

Took it out a cast some 2 oz jiggy-do’s.

For $85 delivered it is a lot of fun.

I didn’t mean to compare it to a Black Hole (but couldn’t help myself. I am sure the black hole is a better rod) but I can see why popasilov keeps adding them to his arsenal. Some of us are just bargain, budget minded fishos.

Skinny blanks, decent hardware,LIGHT and lots of models.

Worth checking out!

Glad I bought it..

I am not after "The Fish" of lifetime.

I, just simply, want to walk by water, being able to fish and have fun.

For me those rods are perfect for what I do and how I do.
