As it said many times already, ambient light that does not move is different from a moving light. Try waving a high power flashlight under your dock a few times and see what happens.

You don't need lights in NJ, for gawd's sake!  :rolleyes:


Unless you're in Block Island or Cuttyhunk.   Now that's a whole new level of darkness.  Basically can go only hear the waves without a light on moonless, overcast nights. :scared:

Was walking down a jetty last night and a guy is messing with some gear, white  led headlight on. I new he was going to look at me and ask if I caught something so I pulled my cap down and looked sideways as I walked around him.

WTF do people think that's its ok to shine a light in peoples faces?
