I am asking about the beachfront itself, not absecon inlet.    The surf is tough to read acurately.   Where do you fish.  Today the wind was blowing inshore with some sweep heading southward.

 

Saw one spot where there was a larger break between the erosion control jetty fingers.  The beach had a nice hole in the middle with a variety of birds all congregated waiting on the beach today.  Could not see any dead bait onshore.  Guessing maybe sand eels....

 

Fishing these spots can get pricey with lures....................
