Looks kinda goofy and those screws will be problem one way or another.

$100 no thanks, the OEM sheath is like $40.

The leather sheath for VS pliers is already pretty much perfect, why bother?

Don’t like the leather. The belt loop gets loose when soaked and when I go to pull the pliers it tries to pull the whole sheath up. Not a huge issue just annoys me

Any try the Van Staal Comanche Kydex plier sheath? Thinking of picking one up, never been a huge fan of VS leather sheath

I did it and posted a little review in the “Show us your surf belt” thread.

nobody needs it,but I believe it’s the best you can do.  I ‘upgraded” to it from a Mak that was awesome, but it has some advantages and I had the coin to go for the best.

Kydex is an excellent choice but $100+ is ridiculously overpriced, especially for a sheath that is made for one specific brand/size pliers. I do my own Kydex work with stainless hardware and can make sheaths to fit anything I want and my cost comes nowhere near $100.
