Vindman is reviewing his thoughts, opinions, recollections, inferences and conclusions, before he testifies in public - Why?

If LtCol Vindman told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, why does he have to review his deposition last week before he appears in public next week?

It has been reported that Vindman is in the “skiff” reviewing his testimony today.

Why?

If everything he’s said is the truth as he recollects it, why the review?

Hmmmmmm

Doesn't sound like the Col. was too liked, almost sounds like he hated America but wore the uniform anyway...now who does that remind you of in the PG....:wee:

He’s running on fumes, his reservoir of “we’ve got him now” moments exhausted.

He just needs to be reminded what Schiff and staff told him to say.

That raises an interesting question: is Vindman reviewing alone or with Schiff staffers?

Open testimony is often rehearsed with the majority chair orchestrating the asking of questions in advance. Rehearsed questions and memorized answers. Also, telling him what to expect on cross-examination for the Reps.

Vindman sounds like a real worm to me, but under this amount of high-level scrutiny, only an idiot wouldn't review his testimony to make sure they didn't get "gotcha'd".

Because of the secrecy of the environment silly.

GOP Rep Johnson to Jake Tapper on CNN on Sunday, poining out why Vindman might have been reviewing his closed-door testimony:

You know, President Obama, we authorized $300 million of lethal defensive weaponry. He never supplied it.

I would take things that Colonel Vindman says with a grain of salt as well, because, in his testimony, he said the Obama administration provided Javelin weapons. They didn't. It was March 2018 that 210 Javelin weapons were finally approved in terms of a movement over to Ukraine.

Well see that right there needs to be rehearsed. Wouldn’t want Schifty to bang the gavel and scream ‘don’t answer that mean man’ with such an easy question about that. Got to save that stuff for the really good questions.

Colonel, did you receive official authorization to release the content of the president’s classified phone call to the super secret Whistle Blower ? That would be a question worthy of practicing ahead of time.

In a courtroom anywhere in America this activity would be seen as witness tampering. Completely acceptable during witch hunts though. I think this speaks to the strength of the case against the president. That they have to engineer seemingly every aspect of the evidence in order to get any of it to point in the desired direction. Something this contrived is bound to become very complicated very quickly. Can Schifty pull it off ?

Javelins final approval right about the time Poroshenko met with Giuliani and Ukraine stopped looking at Manafort and stopped working with Mueller.  Just speculation but odd coincidences, don’t you think?
