You are 100% correct. Bought a bunch and smoked a few and was like eh it’s ok.  Grabbed one the other week and it was much better than I remembered.

Same reaction I had. They improve with age

Most cigars do. I had a 1/2 box of Excalibur numero dos in maduro that I kept for almost two years, they were like a totally different cigar when I smoked them.

I lost my internal battle with myself and really rounded out my cigar bid order today.  :banghd:

Waiting on 10 LGC no 4 Maduros to close out. That’ll be it for me for a month.
I have waaaaaaaay to many now!

I hate you guys for showing me the dark side of cigar bid! :D

I find one to two years the sweet spot for most cigars in the humidor. Some go longer, but not all of them. I had a twenty yo Cuban Bolivar that was tits up. It was glorious.

I liked the Brazil and Italiano, but the gold Connecticut is my favorite cao

I remember liking the gold too. I know I’ve tried the italia but I don’t remember my opinion on that on. I should try both of them again.
