Ive grown to love it. grew up on the bands like the foo fighters, smashing pumpkins, and Oasis. Right around 2006, all good mainstream 4 piece bands seemed to no longer exist or got little air play. Instead we are now stuck with mumble rap. I cant relate to it whatsover. One day i put on a country station and found I could relate to lyrics about love, fishing, drinking, being outdoors much more so than I could about slinging rock, wearing Gucci and icy chains.

Agreed, however there are some bright spots. Luke Bryan is trash. Keith Urban, God awful. But I do enjoy midland, whiskey myers, Darius Rucker who get decent airplay.

The old stuff is great but there's plenty of new guys that are just as good.

What do you get when you play country music backward?

You get back your wife, your dog, and your truck.
