A couple of kids want me to take them fishing this safernoon and I'm wondering if there is anything at all in the salt?

Don't really care what I just want the little brats to catch something. What about harbor pollock or Macks from shore. There must be something willing to eat some clam. I thought I might throw a sabiki but I just dont know. I know there are possibly some short stripers hanging around but is there any hope. Heading out shortly to catch a little bit of the tide.

Thanks.. I guess I should have kept the boat in the water.

Right now my first choice is the commercial pier in skituate. It's been a long time but I recollect the little Pollock always being there.

What say ye?

Hit the ponds in the towns right next to you.Chub trap, some bread, and a marsh ditch.Teach them to get some chubs as part of the fishing adventure.A dozen nightcrawlers and bobbers just in case.
