Any of you guys using this one? Looks like a nice jacket, and might look at picking one up in the off season. Any pros/cons? Thanks for any input in advance!

My son bought one three weeks ago at a shop in CT and got 20% off. He wanted it for doing his work estimates when it was raining and for kayak fishing. Last weekend he used it twice while kayak fishing the salt and was very happy with it. Seems well made.

It seems like a lot of what they talk about regarding this jacket is more freshwater application. At least what i have seen. Curious is people think it’s saltwater worthy.

I have been using mine in the salt for a year and its been great.  Its basically a nice windbreaker with a hood.  The cuffs are adjustable.  Zipper front pockets on each side.  For light weather they are great.

Thanks for the replies gents! I’m going to try and put my hands on one. I wear a HH light rain coat most of the time, but it’s not good for colder weather, so hoping it’s not the same as that. I am looking for something a little more “significant”. I was looking at another Guy Cotten, but just want to look at other options too. I appreciate your help!
