Jersey?????

Where did you get Jersey from?

When did  Long Island and Staten Island become part of Jersey?

Check the video at about 4 mins in Atlantic City. Had he stayed after the blitz.

Must be part that I missed, after growing up in Long Island and moving to Staten Island, because he got job there.

Or, is it after, he said, his 1st friend died trying to get back 50cents buck tail under the bridge?

I was literally laughing out loud. Fighting fish for no longer than 45 seconds and tightening down the drag all the way? Nice parody!

Fave parts:

"There were stripers eating our chunks in mid-air, three feet out of the friggin water... we had bets on who could even get their chunk in the water
before it got ate."

"This is my back up reel here. I bought this in around '78 off a Polish kid named Irish Greg. "

There used to be a guy that was called Johnny Bunker when I fished the jersey side of the Hudson.  I swear for god this is a perfect replica.

This guy is a character.  Hilarious!

Not only a hilarious character, but a good fisherman. He no need fancy rod, fancy reel, or custom plugs. A Bunker and a bucket and he good to go.

Mostly bull****t, but it is true you only need two rod guides.   I learned that from Jersey Mike before he opened his first deli on Staten Island.  That was back in ‘82 just before the Flag Day blitz.
