Rac a rod car wash

Haven't tried this one, but if the rod rack is detachable, you sure don't want it to come off and bash up the truck or get tied up in washer machinery - repairs could get ugly.  Now the bay with the sprayer wand type - no problem.

In my mind, rod on the top of the car does NOT belong in the car wash.

Not if, when, or anything else.

Period.

Imagine washing brushes polishing rod.

No rod on just having the rod rack on the crossbars was my question

Stupid question but has anyone ran their truck with one on or should it come off

I've had Thule ski type on my for many washes except for that one time when the car wash decided to rip them off.

I now take them off after they are used. Mine mount with the Allen head screw so easy on and off is quick
