Can you put a dry top into a washing machine or dryer?

You should never wash fishing  garments or you’ll risk losing their good mojo. Surprised no one mentioned this because it’s widely known.

If your top is older put it inside out to give it a look see. I had to reseal some tape, and seal a few seams on an older top.

What did you use to seal the tape/ seams?

First, look at the label or contact the manufacturer. 

 

Second, front load, cold delicate cycle with a 'free' type detergent s/b fine. I have washed my Simms waders, GC top and Stormr top that way without issue.

 

Obviously no dryer...
