there has been discussion with the Montauk town department of installing fishing cams (project blitz cam) on both the north and south side of the lighthouse, argument being it will help bring more revenue into the town

will it be linked to FB with face recognition

these cams will allow us to zoom in as well, so we can see watch the gill netters discarding the pesky large dead bass they consider by-catch

Now those guys were out in full force on Sunday...Floaters aplenty.   It's always the ugly red shtbox Jolly Roger.  Every geezer on the east end probably shares their tags with that guy.

Tell me one time you have seen this live?!.... this is a once in 500 years photo

Despite all the glowing social media spot burns and roving hoards of cellphone carrying binocular looking poseurs - the fact was, there were not all that may surf casters in Montauk last weekend. You easily could find hours of blitzes all to yourself if you were willing to walking a couple of hundred yards.

Maybe it was the sunny weather that kept the crowds away, the hardcore sharpies around here probably only get their butts off the couch when it's NE 30.

You missed Bobby Mo debacle a few years ago? Miles of fishermen shoulder to shoulder. Most chasing reports. Funny part was when the fish left and you would not see one bent rod down the whole beach.  Crazy.

Just wanted to show jersey surf casting at its finest. You'll have to ask them if its photo shopped.
