Warren-Castro > Warren-Buttigieg in 2020?

I am going to go out on a limb here and say Warren is the likely Dem candidate. The question is who would she pair with?

Bernie's moment is done, he is no longer special when he’s not the only socialist on the stage,

Biden showed last night that he’s not up for it. He had two aggressive moments but otherwise he was docile. Dems want someone who can beat Trump and Joe is showing he is not up for it.

So Warren is it I think and the question will be her veep selection. Limiting my options to the current candidates, I do not see her picking one of the other women, ain’t happening. So I come down to two, Castro and Buttigieg. Of the two, I think Castro is the more logical choice. Hispanic, bilingual, has served in a prior administration and a good attack dog. Mayor Pete has baggage and I don’t think the Dems are even willing to run another woman tied to a gay man.

Thoughts?

I think she goes outside the group that is running.  Why pick a running mate who is drawing 2%.

I think some one like the fat black lady from Georgia.  JMO

No way. This might be sexist, but the USA is NOT ready for a two female ticket. And not two progressive females.

BTW, did they mention energy policy and green deals in Houston, home of the legacy US energy industry?

Derail warning:

Lara Trump on Fox News right now after she had another child in past couple of weeks. She is a very effective spokesperson for Trump and she is definitely breast feeding.

Where was the discussion of economic growth?

National security?

Foreign policy?

The mob does not want to hear about those issues.

All they really want to hear is free stuff, get the guns, climate change, orange man bad.

By trading with China and the rest of the world openly

National security?

Nope

Foreign policy?

Open unrestricted trade with everyone. And pulling out of the Middle East, just like Obama did.

I think it’s a Warren-Biden ticket, personally. We may see Yang doing something with education, Spartacus working with urban planning and Bernie will still be waving his red flag wherever he is.

I think once a couple more candidates drop out, and who their voters migrate to, we will have a clearer picture of who will be emerging from the pack.

Warren did a smart thing with getting out front of her Indian issue.

Her supposed strength is economics, but wants to get at your retirement savings as a revenue source.

It is not a question of strengths, but which candidate has the fewer negatives. No Democrat has any particular strength.
