Seems the internet outrage mob(D) is really really pissed at ABC for allowing a republican to run an advertisement showing what life under socialism is like.

#BoycottABC is the top trend on twitter

THe ad targeted democratic leader AOC's support of socialism.

They are calling the Cambodian woman who bought the ad a racist.

Reasonable to call for a boycott of ABC?  Should ABC have censored opposing views?

They really shouldn't have run that, I didn't see it live, but it doesn't look very effective.

Still, the endless ads for lawyers who want to sue Monsanto are more annoying to me.

It supposedly only ran on one ABC affiliate in the DC area,  But the PAC that purchased it definitely got their money's worth, and all the progs are flipping their **** about it and it's gone viral

It seems that it was meant to trigger those easily triggered. Just like the banner plane they announce that was to fly over the convention site yesterday evening.

On surface it does put a very small dent into the "white male" narrative the Democrats are putting out there. But that will be over looked by most.

Will most likely see a scramble to portray the add as incorrect in classifying the squad and the Presidential candidates as socialists.

AOC Response per CNN

Quote

"Republicans are running TV ads setting pictures of me on fire to convince people they aren't racist," the New York Democrat tweeted. "Life is weird!"

Now if she was a Republican wouldn't she been forced to denounce, in this case, socialism?
