Old reels

4 posts in this topic

Today i was helping go through some tackle for old buddy who had passed & we found two old reels (1) Beachcomber made by a division of Lionell the train guys ?  the other was a Ted Williams ... both spinners  i would guess 1940's -50 era Is there any value to these?,they are on the crusty side .

The only way they have much value is if they are in mint condition with the box

Ted Williams was a Sears brand, sot there are a lot of them out there (I'm assuming it's a 410, about the same size as the Beachcomber?)

Both go for between $10 and $20 in very nice shape
