Korkers Customer Service

Quick shout out to the folks at Korkers.  Bought a pair of Buckskin boots on Amazon (supplied by a third part online shop).  After only a few outings one of the lace-hole grommets broke an pulled out.  I reached out via Amazon and the retailer advised I must contact Korkers direct.  Sent them an email and had a response within a few hours with instructions on requesting warranty.  I sent all the info and quickly received another message stating they would replace the pair of boots at no charge.  They should be en-route as we speak.  That is top notch service as far as I'm concerned.  For a fairly minor failure I thought they went above and beyond and deserve a little online "atta-boy"

Had Korker interchangeable sole boots that failed within a month or and needed them replaced quickly for an upcoming trip, told me it would be about 2 weeks turn around and that I should buy another pair in the meantime. I did - and they were Simms and I never looked back, best boots and customer service - something I highly value. That was over 10 years ago.

I have heard that their customer service is great but thankfully I've never had to use it. Glad to hear that they are still living up to it. Big fan of my buckskin Korkers!

I found a web site that handled the Simms closeouts when they got ride of felt.  Bought three pairs at 60% off.  I'm set for a while now.

I've hade Korkers (initial replaceable sole model), LL Bean, Cabelas, and Simms.  Simms are the most durable I've had.

I was disappointed when they changed the boots with the interchangeable soles and stopped making the old soles rendering my boots useless.

What was the problem with the ones you had and did you contact their C/S?

I had 2 poor experiences with their service.  Both times the outsoles separated from the boots.   Both times I was left high and dry. (i'm used to getting only a year or two out of boots but this was ridiculous)

A few years ago I had a set of spike inserts lose the spikes on the first outing....I think they offered a replacement if I sent them in....I didn't bother but at least they were quick to reply and quick to offer a solution.

I feel like their design and quality has gotten better over the years as well.
