FishermanTim
I think everyone has had it at some time(s) in their lives. Most get it were it only last a few seconds and passes, kind of like a muscle cramp. Others have more severe bouts. First thing to have checked is wax/blockage in the ear. Pressure from wax build up, while it may not directly affect hearing, can apply pressure to the inner ear and cause a ringing in the ear. Worst case scenario would be damage from excessive loud noise (volume and /or duration). Best of luck! I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!
