WTB 8 wt for Albies

12 posts in this topic

Im heading to Marthas Vineyard this fall for the first time since moving out west to Colorado 7 years ago.  I am looking for a good line for fishing Albies if they come close to shore, in places like the gut or harbor. I have never caught one on a fly rod.  Not looking to break the bank since this will probably just be used for the week.    Do I want floating or intermediate?  Anyone have a good used one for sale?

I use a sinking line from shore for albies all the time better in the wind when fish are not showing or are showing I usually use a type 5 or 6 uniform sink and guys that do in RI west wall area  outf fish the intermediate guys.
