I have two 3/4 to 3oz (10' and 11' ) and I paid $99 +tax, each.

Thumb-Burner paid much less for his 12-4oz because he had a special deal going on with his local supplier.

One that arrived today is 1/2 to 2oz and I paid even less than $60 because it was a return item

$60 that's a very good deal.

I will look around for the 10 footer but not sure for the 3/4-3oz or 3/4-2oz, one of these.

Thank you for the info.

If it's not a Goldberg custom, it doesn't count.

150% right there.

But

The way I see it; to learn how to drive, one does NOT buy Ferrari right away, one learns to drive on Escort first, sand then go for kill.

Also,

Al Goldberg does not make rods, He makes ARTS.

Are these 50/50 or 70/30?

Those are 50/50 for 11' and 49.5/50.5 for 10', lol

See the picture

Nice. For the 90 bucks or whatever, I'd consider keeping one in the back of the RAV for emergency situations. 70/30 won't cut it for that.

No, it is not just nice.

It is a GREAT rod for that price.

LOL

You think I don't know that?

Like I said earlier, I had 2 of them, rated 3/4 to 3oz, since last year

I was looking for same rod, 1/2 to 2oz and it just happened that this one was on sale

What's the major difference between this rod and the 10' Black Hole Suzuke light rod other than price? Both seem to be light and strong.
