Moore Reservoir tips Littleton NH

6 posts in this topic

Will be up in Littleton NH for the weekend and haven't fished freshwater in a very long time and i plan on hitting the Moore Reservoir. What can i expect to catch up there if anything from shore? I will have artificial worms, powerbait and a tiny top water spook.  Thanks for your help!

It's known for warm water species.  The state record Pike was caught there.  I've been in the area looking for trout, but never fished the Moore.  Go to Corey's Sports Stop in Littleton for better information.

This ^^^^. I have a friend who regularly catches pike (some good ones too) on flies.

From the gear you described sounds like you may want trout waters. Ide strongly suggest looking at steeeter pond its close to Littleton.  I only ice fish it but there are some nice trout to be caught on pb. Group of 4 of us and a few we took for consumption.  And the fillets which were delicious.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I will hit up Coreys sports store for more gear if needed. What do pikes like to hit mostly? Swim baits?
