Throw frogs around the slime and drains and youll find some snakehead and some big smallmouth.

The creek in Tyler is severely overfished IMO.

Good luck!

I'm 42, I can remember fishing with my dad as a kid and it was overfished then

That and core creek were always a waste of time for me. Lots of other great ponds in the area as well as the few rivers and creeks that hold smallmouth.

Yea core creek is another.  Think that is where we use to go to watch then stock trout.

Levittown Lake was another.  Can only imagine what the mercury levels are like now with all the transformers they buried there back in the 80's

Has anybody ever seen a flathead come out of the delaware?

No to the flatheads but saw my first snakehead caught. I’m fishing from Trenton to Frenchtown usually

Knew there were snakeheads but never seen or heard of a flathead caught which is odd considering the size of some of them they catch out of the schuylkill

Any size to them?

Yup, not as populated as in the Schuylkill but there are big ones.  I don't target them (that might have to change) but I know people that do

Core Creek has a decent LMB population.  Not real large but you can find 3 to 4 lbers.  You need to fish the points and old roadbeds.   These were smoothed out during construction so they aren't real prominent.  But they are there and the sonar shows them holding fish.  (I've also caught them as well.)

Ive caught a few flatheads out of the delaware but nothing over 8 lbs. I'm sure there are 50 pounders in the delaware but i have not been able to consistently catch flatheads so i stick with the skuke
