I  fish Penn Torques and Slammers, I have no use for a Battle...maybe a magged Fathom on sale would get my attention,  or a SLA3500...Daiwa CertateLT as well.

I’ve tried some knock offs and other styles but just keep going back to them, no other material feels as good

Yeah, the Columbia site also has a sale to coincide with Prime Day.  I like the Tamiami 2s the best but B&G is my number 2.

Regarding the Battle, it’s a good price!  I wish I would have waited.  I got a Penn Fierce for nearly that price for a budget rod I built not long ago and have yet to even fish it.

$0 spent so far this year. knock on wood.  Do these design people ever wing it. Alexa enabled microwave. :kook:  You load your food, standing in front of the microwave, instead of pressing 2-3 button in less than second. You scream "alexa, turn microwave on for 3 minutes", wait for the "smart" device to respond, send the command to your microwave. If the smart device didn't hear you correctly, you'll have to scream again.............. and again.  Finally said, "Fug it alexa, I'll do it myself, happy now, you *****"

Ruh Roh, this thread is in violation of SOL guidelines, better lock it down now.

IIRC, Scooby has the ability to post links to Amazon goods...I'm sure he'll explain it.

Just passing this along. Not stealing but a decent deal if you can stack it with the usual 20% off for $100 spend. 15% off Z-man, yum, Gary Yamamoto when purchased  from Dicks via Ebates/Rakuten.

SOL makes a few sheckels when you buy through scooby's links.

It's about as useless as the date function on a GE microwave...........seriously.....after a power outage you have to enter the time and the date....for a microwave
