I don't know about the ones that we see now a days. They just might be happy if their children are gay, like them.

is that what's behind all the gay anger...that its not really about "rights" etc....they are angry because they know there will never be a time where they are truly  wanted?

I would vote yea on this.

is it different with daughters?

to me while I would try to be as openly accepting etc. as I could be, it would be a gut punch.
