i wouldn't assume that the shops are closed. in fact i can't imagine they would be closed...

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the world class cunner fishery there.  A light tackle paradise for those wily fish!

I catch them up to 14in fishing for scup. Never tried eating them

Oddly I don't think I've ever caught a sea robin in the Ditch. I guess the guys from Area 51 got them all. :worms:

Just jig for 'em while you're jigging for stripers.  :)

used to use the periwrinkles for bait and catch them when i was a kid.

I caught a monster BSB one night at slack on a chunk.  Lots of jigged lobster and only small blackfish.

 

During the day sleep eat and maybe make bait if macks are in.

 

If i fish then i take a short ride to find blackfish and blues away from the ccc
