Fishing ccc for something other than stripers

I am going to try for flounder at some of the Sandy bar areas I've found. Just wondering if there is something else I can target as well.

I primarily fish at night for stripes so I'm looking for something to do during the day.

Hi lo scup rig with a 3 to 4oz bank sinker. Squid for bait and fish around high slack. Low slack sucks for scup In my experience

This is helpful, thank you. I'm still learning the canal but the tide seems to play a huge factor based on the fishermen I've talked to while I was there.

I was gonna say fluke as well. I havent done it in many years but i used to throw a fresh sand eel with 1 oz egg sinker at slower stages of tide and basically drift or jig it. Worked pretty well.
