First Oyster Toadfish

Was light tackle fishing an inshore salt marsh off a pier and pretty much all of the people fishing with me started catching Toadfish. Since most people were there to eat, they hated catching them. I think they are a very interesting, unique fish.

Really? Interesting. Georgia DNR says that they don't have any food value. 

 

Maybe taste like catfish...

A few years ago, live ones were selling for $17.50/pound in the ethnic markets in Flushing (Queens County) NY
