All Quiet on the Western Front

Had a great time fishing (but catching was another thing) this morning with a visiting SOLr.  Saw maybe four surface breaks, way out, while we were on the W end pre-dawn.  We also saw a few bunker and some Pnuts in close to the rocks, but no predators on them.

We banged around to a few other spots during the high slack and a couple of hours into the ebb, but everyone with whom we spoke needed as much tomato juice as we did.

Slow going, but it was just damned gorgeous out there with the fog followed by fog lifting to reveal sunshine.

PS.  It didn't take me long to make my first-of-this-season donation to the canal gods. Perhaps they've accepted it and things will be better tonight, ahead of tomorrow's stormy weather?
