dey59
first off i'm in Kansas I fish for carp and cat mostly bass rarely mostly river and creek some pond and lake. have always used older (read 60's 70's ) Johnson sabra 130 and zebco 808 and various spinning reels. about 2 years ago I discovered penn. I now have 209m level line, 309 peer, squall 20lw, battle ll 5000 and 8000, spinfisher v 4500 live liner and 6500 live liner, and a pursuit ll 4000 it came with a penn rod. i bought these new other than the 309 peer. I need advice on penn rods for the 209, 309 and squall. have never used bait caster before but love these. everyone said they would be hard to cast but after playing with the weight and brake a little, and practice a lot. they cast great. also advice on penn rods for the spinfishers. right now they are on Berkley big game series and assorted eagle claw rods. any advice is appreciated. penn has great products. thanks
