· #1 Posted June 12, 2019 (edited) · Report post Hello all, Quick question; what are your opinions on buying a used Calusa 8' 3/8" 1.5 lbs/foot cast net vs. buying a brand new Barracuda Tackle 8' 3/8" 1.25 lbs/foot net? I'm trying to way my options as I can get either for $120. The used Calusa net is said to have no holes or been repaired. Seller states its been sitting in a closet for two years. Is a used Calusa worth $120 and that much better than a new Barracuda net? I was leaning toward the Barracuda until I saw the used Calusa for the same price. Net will be used for pinfish, greenbacks and other white bait from shore and in the surf. Any help is greatly appreciated.
