Maybe the 1’6” extra will help it track better. A tug is a tug, still going to get blown around.  I don’t see any need for me to get rid of the other one.

I've never tried the shorter one, but I'll be curious to see how the extra size effects it... maybe it will give the predator a run for its money

It could be a battle of tugboats, among themselves. 

 

Like I said in my review it really gets old lifting the 10’ model around.  Even out of the tailgate of the Tacoma at a ramp.  It has to be over 130lbs fully rigged.  

 

I need a compact winter vehicle, the TW serves it but just want lighter.

oh i agree, having a lighter version would definitely be nice... i wonder how much one of these things would weigh if you made it from some sort of composite?
