Anyone have any luck with gluing mitered corners with composite decking ?

I replaced the deck boards on our rear deck with composite and want to run a ribbon board to dress up the edge.     I need to do (2)_ 45s and (1) 90.

Nope. Tried several different methods on several different products/projects. Best one that's held up so far was a no glue pocket screw from under job. But that took six guys to flip back over and set, without breaking. If you can do it from under without flipping boards, I would go this way.

I always wondered if you could do this with biscuit joints? Fabricate your biscuits out of some left over plastic material.

and Lamello make them.

The Lamellos are no glue, have "barbs".

The Versatex are made for PVC like Azek/Koma, etc. Used w/glue.

Not sure if either will work with your composite Dave. But a search with your brand name might surprise ya. That is, if your going with biscuits.

Oh yeah, they aint cheap.Pocket screws are, lol.
