Underrated tools/accessories in the surf?

I should be studying for exams, but my mind is lost somewhere in the surf right now. What's your favorite tool or accessory that you don't see too many other guys with? For me, it's got to be my G-Shock G-7900 watch. Rugged as hell and has an accurate tide graph and the moon phases. It's been an amazing assistant in the surf where it's easy to lose your sense of time. Another good one would be the pork rind holders that go on belts, which actually gave me a lot of extra space in my bags.

PFD- I wear it when it’s nasty, especially when jetty jumping.

Oh that's a good one. Can definitely recall a few times where having one would have given me some peace of mind. Probably gonna be picking one up in the near future now.

Bolt cutters. Bought a small one from harbor freight for little money. Used it 3x last year to unhook a friend.

Have they handled the saltwater well, or do you just keep them in the truck?

Bought a pesticide sprayer to throw in the truck.  Nice to have pressurized freshwater on hand at the beach.

Handles it pretty well, I rinse it when I get home with warm water and use blaster corrosion stopper. Its been 3 years since I bought it so I must be doing something right. I leave the cutters on my bike rack so it goes near the water.

Washing hands, rinsing gear.  If I'm on the beach with the truck, usually have at least one chunk/head out there.

I was thinking of getting one too. Do they provide enough pressure to wash sand off? I always thought they let off more of a mist.

The cheap one I bought at HD definitely has enough pressure.

Bury the tank in the sand up to the handle and it stays nice and cool all day.

What do you use these for?

untangling line, knots

puling line - hair thru bait, boilie or pellet

taking of silicone hair from the hook

those multi tool knives and similar tools should have one of those on them.
